How much does it cost for one bed?

It depends on the installation location and quantity of the bed. Please contact us for a detailed quotation.

What is the difference between a capsule bed and a normal bunk bed?

Kotobuki Sleep Capsule is highly evaluated for being able to have a private room space that maintains privacy. Sound, line of sight, odor, etc. are blocked, so you can relax and take a rest safely. LED lighting, ventilation fan, and outlet are standard equipment, and a TV can be installed as an option. Kotobuki Sleep Capsule contributes to improving the working environment.

Do I hear the noise from the neighbors?

Cushioning materials are used everywhere in the capsule bed so it will absorb those sound. You can experience the actual sound insulation performance in the showroom in Japan and the US.

What is the ceiling height required to install the capsule bed?

A ceiling height of 2400 mm (2.4 m) or more is required. (GS-CUBE standard type)

How much is the weight of one capsule bed?

The weight of one capsule is about 165 kg so if 2 story-bed, the total weight is about 370 kg. If two 80kg people use top and bottom, a weight of 530 kg will be loaded on a floor of approximately 2 m². (* 220 kg per m²) (GS-CUBE standard type)

Is it possible to install on double floors or raised floors?

Yes, it is possible. The capsule bed could be installed as long as the floor could bear the load.

Can the capsule bed be fixed onto the floor?

The capsule beds are basically anchored to the floor if the floor is made of concrete. Even for wooden floors and steel floors, we can fix them with specific screws. This is to prevent falls and slips when anything is happening.

Is it possible to install firefighting equipment inside the capsule bed?

You can install an automatic fire alarm and sprinkler equipment. (Оn site)

How long does it take to install?

It depends on the layout and the number of beds however, basically about 4-6 beds can be constructed per day. (GS-CUBE standard type)

Can it be installed anywhere?

Since it is a panel assembly product, it can be installed anywhere if there is a space for people to enter and a capsule bed can be installed. (* Capsule dimensions W1200mm L:2400mm H: 2400mm)

Is there noise during construction?

You would hear the drill and vibration noise when anchoring onto floor on the first day.

Is it possible to relocate?

It can be relocated as it is a panel assembly product.

How does ventilation work?

One ventilation fan is attached to each capsule bed. The fan is exhaust type - intakes fresh air outside to the capsule bed through roll blind and exhaust to the outside the capsule bed through a duct attached behind the headboard.

What is the air volume of the ventilation fan?

Can I order bedding too?

We also can provide the mattress and bed pad. As it’s a standard size, commercial bedding can be used.
